Deanne Hagan isn’t satisfied with surface-level answers. She is driven by an insatiable curiosity and a need to understand the deeper logic behind the world around her. She was born in Nassau, The Bahamas, to Ghanaian and Cuban parents, David Hagan and Annelene Sama Junco. She is the second of three children, with an older sibling, Dane, and a younger sibling, Danny. She was raised in a vibrant cultural environment that emphasized education, critical thinking, and creativity. From an early age, Deanne was captivated by technology, often found coding simple programs or fixing family devices. This passion evolved into a broader interest in how systems function, why people behave the way they do, and how the forces of society and commerce shape modern life.

Her career reflects a rare blend of analytical precision and creative flair. Deanne has contributed to fields ranging from retail banking and government contracting to visual design and urban planning. At Zions Bank, she proposed revenue-generating strategies supported by data analytics and Power BI. As a fellow with the HBCU Sustainable Communities Initiative, she designed blue-green corridor concepts to address flood risks and promote economic growth. She has also founded successful creative brands such as Bahafcu and Latin Graphix, turning photography and graphic design into tools for storytelling and strategic impact.


Deanne’s professional path has also been marked by initiative and innovation. At Amerimac Chemical, she tracked over $600K in government contract bids and maintained communications with more than 200 agricultural clients. With James A. Carey & Associates, she secured a $10,000+ procurement deal and redesigned internal systems to improve payroll accuracy. Each role underscores her belief that every process, brand, or business can be optimized through deeper understanding and intentional design.


A pivotal moment in Deanne’s journey came at the end of her freshman year at Jackson State University, when she said "yes" to the cross and began her walk with Christ. Getting to know Jesus has been the most life-changing decision she has ever made. Her faith is now the cornerstone of her identity, guiding not only how she treats others, but how she makes decisions, sets goals, and views success. Deanne’s relationship with God continues to deepen, and it fuels her desire to live with integrity, serve with purpose, and use her talents to positively impact the world around her.


Now preparing to graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Jackson State University, Deanne maintains a 3.889 GPA and an active leadership presence on campus. She plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence or Project Management. Through her blog and digital platforms, she is beginning to document the questions, critiques, and insights that have long shaped her thinking. Deanne Hagan is building a career defined by depth, vision, and a drive to improve the world around her.
